Manfred Axelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malte Valrot went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Manfred Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Artal in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Martin Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Artal charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Artal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martin Artal hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The supporters of Alvins grisgäng booed when Nerd FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Näver didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Christian Offendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nerd FC's Conny Erserman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ronny Jönsson, made in the 21st minute of the game. After 23 played minutes Nerd FC got a freekick which was hit by August Brandt. In the 25th minute Martin Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfred Axelsson came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvins grisgäng's Martin Artal. But to his dismay, Martin Artal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 31st minute of the match Emanuel Hök sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manfred Axelsson skillfully saved the ball. After 31 played minutes Nerd FC got a freekick which was hit by Billy Palm. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Valrot in the 34th minute of play forced Nerd FC's goalkeeper Manfred Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Martin Artal sped through Nerd FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manfred Axelsson. Nerd FC's Manfred Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Artal in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Martin Artal notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Nerd FC's Manfred Axelsson. Manfred Axelsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manfred Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Valrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Martin Artal made the kick off in the second half. Manfred Axelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Valrot in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the game, George Näver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nerd FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvins grisgäng the free kick. George Näver kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The long shot by Ulrik Örn in the 55th minute really tested Manfred Axelsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Christian Offendahl took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Manfred Axelsson to make any attempt to save it. A well placed Martin Artal short distance shot in the 61st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 63 minutes into the game, Alvins grisgäng's Malte Valrot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manfred Axelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 67th minute Martin Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nerd FC's zone, Christian Offendahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Axelsson came out of the goal and Christian Offendahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvins grisgäng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrik Örn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfred Axelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Valrot in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Artal in the 80th minute of play forced Nerd FC's goalkeeper Manfred Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvins grisgäng's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
