After a defensive mix-up in Nora IFK's zone, Fredrik Dahlqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrão Cardoso came out of the goal and Fredrik Dahlqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Söderqwist in the 17th minute of play forced Nora IFK's goalkeeper Pedrão Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrão Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Söderqwist in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Åkersberga BF's zone, Karl-Magnus Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Stenström came out of the goal and Karl-Magnus Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernt Lindgren during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Nora IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Åkersberga BF:s goal. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Åkersberga BF. Patric Torsberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedrão Cardoso. 1-1. A collision led to Åkersberga BF getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jens-Ola Martinsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Dahlqvist in the 35th minute of play forced Nora IFK's goalkeeper Pedrão Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Åkersberga BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. Nora IFK's Pedrão Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Dahlqvist in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match Leif Olsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kjell Stenström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nora IFK's Pedrão Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Bergström in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Rutger Söderqwist made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Nora IFK defense, Fredrik Dahlqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrão Cardoso. The Nora IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrão Cardoso should have stopped the shot. Kjell Stenström came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Nora IFK's Torgny Stenquist. But to his dismay, Torgny Stenquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Torgny Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torgny Stenquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Stenström having to interfere. Pedrão Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Bergström in the 66th minute of the match. Pedrão Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olof Bengtsson in the 68th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Jens-Ola Martinsson in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nora IFK's Rune Rudqvist. If Rune Rudqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kjell Stenström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Stenquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torgny Stenquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell Stenström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Stenquist in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Nora IFK were awarded a corner. Ian Olsson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ian Olsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kjell Stenström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedrão Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rutger Söderqwist in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Joakim Bergström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedrão Cardoso. The goal made the score 2-3. 91 minutes into the game, Jens-Ola Martinsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nora IFK's Rune Rudqvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Torgny Stenquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nora IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgny Stenquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell Stenström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, Åkersberga BF's Olof Bengtsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrão Cardoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Åkersberga BF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
