The crowd rose to their feet as Gökçe Adal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tor Åström. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Hannes Mårtensson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Fredric Backman scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Cresenciano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fredric Backman's late challenge caught a Pekings Primates's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredric Backman helped the player get up and apologised. Fredric Backman hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Fredric Backman kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökçe Adal in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Åström saved Fratton Boys from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melker Sjöman was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Arnoldo Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pekings Primates booed when Fratton Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Sjöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökçe Adal in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Åström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Gökçe Adal sped through Fratton Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tor Åström. In the 80th minute, Gökçe Adal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tor Åström was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1.
