Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Karl-Ove Berg kicked off to start the match. Melker Sjöman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Fratton Boys defense, Martin Wennerquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tor Åström. The Fratton Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tor Åström should have stopped the shot. Tor Åström was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Stig-Åke Pålsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stig-Åke Pålsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Melker Sjöman came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Fratton Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melker Sjöman couldn't finish the play. Culiao BK's Gustav Bock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Backman in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Åke Pålsson in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Åström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Jimmie Sundling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Stig-Åke Pålsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Culiao BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Pålsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tor Åström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Ove Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Åström having to interfere. Gustav Bock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Sjöman in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 52 minutes, Fredric Backman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fratton Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredric Backman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustav Bock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Sjöman in the 54th minute of play. Tor Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Wennerquist in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fratton Boys's zone, Stig-Åke Pålsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tor Åström came out of the goal and Stig-Åke Pålsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Culiao BK's Melker Dahlbom got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Melker Sjöman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Culiao BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Dahlbom to maneuver through the defense. Many of Fratton Boys's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fratton Boys may have spent more time on the ball, but Culiao BK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
