Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hjalmar Kvick kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Värnamo's zone, Frans Kalfhage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Boman came out of the goal and Frans Kalfhage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hardi Kaarna scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pål Boman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hardi Kaarna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pål Boman having to make a save. 14 minutes into the match, Viktor Möllgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Milosz Waselenczuk. IFK GROVLÖS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktor Möllgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Hardi Kaarna came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the IFK GROVLÖS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hardi Kaarna couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Kvick in the 19th minute of play forced IFK GROVLÖS's goalkeeper Milosz Waselenczuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Viktor Möllgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milosz Waselenczuk was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 28 minutes into the game, Inge Ahlkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Värnamo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK GROVLÖS the free kick. After 28 played minutes Värnamo got a freekick which was hit by Inge Ahlkvist. In the 33rd minute Frans Kalfhage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Boman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frans Kalfhage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 41 in the game by Hardi Kaarna from a close distance when the talented Pål Boman managed to make a qualified save. Värnamo's players were relieved. In the last second Pål Boman throw himself and got hold of the ball when Frans Kalfhage in the 44thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Pål Boman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Kalfhage in the 47th minute of the match.

Frans Kalfhage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frans Kalfhage took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Boman. Pål Boman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of IFK GROVLÖS booed when Värnamo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Kvick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pål Boman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Kalfhage in the 61st minute of play. Hardi Kaarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pål Boman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Sture Vall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frans Kalfhage struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Pål Boman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK GROVLÖS. Hardi Kaarna succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Milosz Waselenczuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Kvick in the 72nd minute of play. If Hardi Kaarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pål Boman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Kalfhage, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Hardi Kaarna sped through Värnamo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pål Boman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hardi Kaarna in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pål Boman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardi Kaarna in the 87th minute of play forced Värnamo's goalkeeper Pål Boman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Hardi Kaarna managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK GROVLÖS's supporters rose to their feet, but Hardi Kaarna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Boman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hardi Kaarna in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pål Boman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pål Boman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardi Kaarna in the 94th minute of play.
