After a rather tough play, Hjo BK's Herbert Mårtensson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Roger Hult was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 808s & Heartbreak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hjo BK the free kick. In the 27thth minute of the game Per-Arne Johansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hjo BK's Robin Josefsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robin Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Bocklund in the 29th minute of the match. Per Olenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Rosendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Per-Arne Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half 808s & Heartbreak were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per-Arne Johansson to make the kick off. Per-Arne Johanssons short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Robin Josefsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Per-Arne Johansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Josefsson was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game.
