The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Alsike Internazionale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Asplund came free, but Erasmo Grau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Trulsson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Real Gothenburgo's Aníbal Teles couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alsike Internazionale FC. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Gencalp Kuddusi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Alsike Internazionale FC's Erasmo Grau got control of the ball when Daniel Asplund tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 37 played minutes Alsike Internazionale FC got a freekick which was hit by Brian Morat. After recieving a nice pass, Real Gothenburgo's Aníbal Teles tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Erasmo Grau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Asplund in the 42nd minute. Arne Trulsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, one of Alsike Internazionale FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig Skager made a kick off. Leonard Edström charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Usko Mikkola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
