Douglas Sundin charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglas Sundin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brottarfotboll Alé Alé's Douglas Sundin got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute Sverker Bergfelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulrik Åhlberg had several of the Brottarfotboll Alé Alé's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Marcus Lindberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ola Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Lindberg having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Ola Fransson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brottarfotboll Alé Alé's Marcus Lindberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Douglas Sundin kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ulrik Åhlberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcus Lindberg could save by the left post. Ulrik Åhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Ulrik Åhlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcus Lindberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Staffan Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Hafström, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ola Fransson succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Douglas Sundin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. STATTENA BK's Staffan Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Bergfelt in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Marcus Eklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Staffan Lundin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sverker Bergfelt to make the kick off. STATTENA BK's Jens-Ola Näver suffered a sore foot after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Douglas Sundin was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Douglas Sundin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, STATTENA BK's goalkeeper Staffan Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Erik Hafström. Jan-Erik Hafström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Lundin having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Ulrik Åhlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Lindberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 68 minutes into the game, Ola Fransson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Marcus Lindberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Brottarfotboll Alé Alé defense, Ulrik Åhlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Lindberg. The Brottarfotboll Alé Alé fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Lindberg should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, STATTENA BK's goalkeeper Staffan Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Eklund. Ola Fransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Lindberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Ola Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, STATTENA BK's Staffan Lundin got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Hafström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Malte Göransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STATTENA BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brottarfotboll Alé Alé the free kick. In the 96th match minute, STATTENA BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Göransson to maneuver through the defense.
