After a defensive mix-up in Dannike IK's zone, Kjell-Arne Soned stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urban Lidman came out of the goal and Kjell-Arne Soned tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Stefan Biörkman came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Gryta Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Biörkman couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dannike IK's Ingvar Brolin got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gryta Football Club's Kjell Biörkquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Beckman in the 60th minute of play. Stefan Biörkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kjell Biörkquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Beckman in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Alf Lindberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute Alfons Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Biörkquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Beckman hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Kjell Biörkquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Uggstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the game, Dannike IK's Håkan Uggstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell Biörkquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gryta Football Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dannike IK.
