Lekeryd's Ingvar Ambjörnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingvar Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigvard Mager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Sandström in the 22nd minute of play. Lekeryd's Ingvar Ambjörnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigvard Mager took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Lars Söderberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lekeryd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Bengt-Rune Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Lekeryd got a freekick which was hit by Victor Lind. Greger Björnberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Rune Jonasson in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute Ian Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Isaac Stenström fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lekeryd's protests and gave Isaac Stenström a yellow card for diving instead. Isaac Stenström hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Pelle Elg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigvard Mager skillfully saved the ball. Ian Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Björnberg having to interfere. The Junsele players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lekeryd were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Ian Olofsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ian Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Lekeryd defense, Ian Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Greger Björnberg. The Lekeryd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Greger Björnberg should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Olofsson in the 59th minute of play forced Lekeryd's goalkeeper Greger Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greger Björnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lekeryd booed when Junsele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Mager didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Junsele's Sigvard Mager got control of the ball when Ingvar Ambjörnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Greger Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Jonasson in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Junsele's Ian Olofsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Greger Björnberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Sigvard Mager made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Sandström in the 94th minute. Ingvar Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sigvard Mager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
