Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ted Hurtig made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, VALHALL's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Juhlin came free, but Bill Van Havent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of VALHALL booed when Rengsjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Alex Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Van Havent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill Van Havent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Juhlin in the 10th minute of the match. Ragnar Dusett struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Bill Van Havent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rengsjö. Ramon-Angel Díaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Henric Allbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakob Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to VALHALL getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Axel Lundin hit a great ball. Bill Van Havent had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Patrik Juhlin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ralf Haström came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bill Van Havent could save by the left post. Bill Van Havent didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Ted Hurtig might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henric Allbom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ted Hurtig ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ted Hurtig fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VALHALL's protests and gave Ted Hurtig a yellow card for diving instead. Ramon-Angel Díaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrik Juhlin was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes Rengsjö got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Östlund. Henric Allbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon-Angel Díaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute, Patrik Juhlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ramon-Angel Díaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Patrik Juhlin came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Rengsjö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Juhlin couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, VALHALL's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Nyström came free, but Bill Van Havent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rengsjö's Alfons Berg got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Haström in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bill Van Havent saved VALHALL from getting behind. If Patrik Juhlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. One of VALHALL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rengsjö:s goal. The referee gave Rengsjö a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anders Brummer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VALHALL's Bill Van Havent. 2-0. Ralf Haström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bill Van Havent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Dusett in the 99th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rengsjö fans cheered their team off the field, for while VALHALL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
