The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Hurtig in the 6th minute of play forced Grunden Bois's goalkeeper Carl Dalström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VALHALL's Bill Van Havent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Häll in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon-Angel Díaz in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl Dalström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Anton Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute Anton Häll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Van Havent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bengt-Arne Thedin fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grunden Bois's protests and gave Bengt-Arne Thedin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of VALHALL booed when Grunden Bois was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Thedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakob Lund took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Dalström. Carl Dalström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Grunden Bois's Anton Häll sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bill Van Havent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfons Majman charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfons Majman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Grunden Bois's Alfons Majman got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 37 played minutes Grunden Bois got a freekick which was hit by Anton Häll. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pontus Jönsson during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Hurtig to strike the kick off in the second half. Anton Häll struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Bill Van Havent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grunden Bois. After 58 minutes, Bror Sjöberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grunden Bois and the VALHALL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bror Sjöberg hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. VALHALL's Jakob Lund got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bror Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Osvald Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. VALHALL's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvald Arvidsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Dalström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Ramon-Angel Díaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VALHALL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Axel Lundin fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VALHALL's protests and gave Axel Lundin a yellow card for diving instead. Axel Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes, Grunden Bois's Alfons Majman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bill Van Havent came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grunden Bois reached it. Bill Van Havent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Häll, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the VALHALL defense, Anton Häll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bill Van Havent. The VALHALL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bill Van Havent should have stopped the shot. Grunden Bois's Magne Askelöf was substituted for Bengt-Arne Thedin. Pär Söderkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes, 江源树 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VALHALL and the Grunden Bois players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 91 minutes, Pär Söderkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grunden Bois's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pär Söderkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grunden Bois made a substitution. Kim Kvick replaced Malte Smed. In the 94th minute, VALHALL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pär Söderkvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 96th minute, Pär Söderkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grunden Bois fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The Grunden Bois supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Grunden Bois would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
