Nebi Gültekin came out of the goal and Greger Fristedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hubert Holmberg fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jönåker's protests and gave Hubert Holmberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jönåker's Hubert Holmberg got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Madagascar Gegenpressing's zone, Stig-Ove Asklöv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Eliasson came out of the goal and Stig-Ove Asklöv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Norberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Gunnar Eliasson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 28 in the game by Kent Norberg from a close distance when the talented Gunnar Eliasson managed to make a qualified save. Madagascar Gegenpressing's players were relieved. Gunnar Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Bungescu in the 30th minute of the match. Kent Norberg in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gunnar Eliasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 32 minutes of play Jönåker's Hubert Holmberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Hubert Holmberg hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Sture Karlstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Jönåker's Stig-Ove Asklöv got a free kick in the 35th minute. Madagascar Gegenpressing's Roy Bern got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Stig-Ove Asklöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Eriksson was the one to do the kick off. Madagascar Gegenpressing made a substitution. Fredric Fribäck replaced Greger Fristedt. In the 61st minute Brian Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Eriksson in the 66th minute of play forced Madagascar Gegenpressing's goalkeeper Gunnar Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
