Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Sandström in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Helander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jakob Helander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Sandström in the 34th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Sandström to make the kick off. Rolf Björnsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Marcus Haglund made a precise shot to the right of Isaac Stenström. Lekeryd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 68 minutes into the match, Lekeryd's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Ahlstedt came free, but Isaac Stenström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lekeryd's Lars Söderberg got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Douglas Alebäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Sven Ahlstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smygehamn FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven Ahlstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Stenström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Hernström in the 81st minute of the match. Jakob Helander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Salqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Lars Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jakob Helander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Lekeryd's protests and gave Lars Söderberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Lars Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Alebäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Stenström having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Smygehamn FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lekeryd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
