Jens-Ove Hedlund took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerry Täman. Jerry Täman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonas Falkrantz struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Karl-Ove Ström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glanshammar. In the 12th minute, Åke Ahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-2 became the score in the 16th minute when Lennart Tinglöv elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 19th minute Jens-Ove Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Täman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Täman came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by HeJhEjKoMOchHjäLpMiG's Jens-Ove Hedlund. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Hedlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 26th minute Jens-Ove Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Täman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Glanshammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Åke Albäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Ove Ström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes HeJhEjKoMOchHjäLpMiG got a freekick which was hit by Olof Mogren. Karl-Ove Ström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Lund in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magnus Hermansson during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerry Täman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elias Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Ström having to interfere. Karl-Ove Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Falkrantz in the 45th minute of play. Elias Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Karl-Ove Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lennart Tinglöv was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, HeJhEjKoMOchHjäLpMiG's Olof Mogren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Elias Lund took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Ove Ström. Karl-Ove Ström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. HeJhEjKoMOchHjäLpMiG's Karl-Ove Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Lund in the 58th minute of play. Jerry Täman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Tinglöv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sören Melberg charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sören Melberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 65 minutes into the game, Lennart Tinglöv recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerry Täman. Lennart Tinglöv showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Lund in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Ove Ström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Hedlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerry Täman. Glanshammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Ove Hedlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Lund in the 76th minute of play forced HeJhEjKoMOchHjäLpMiG's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jonas Falkrantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Ove Hedlund got free with Jerry Täman in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Elias Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Falkrantz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Ove Ström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. HeJhEjKoMOchHjäLpMiG walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
