The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Georg Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kolarby AFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Lundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Helge Houdini scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Michael Colin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Michael Colin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Lundström in the 9th minute of the match. Daniel Hamberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leon Gierlach came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Hamberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Kolarby AFK's goalkeeper Leon Gierlach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Hamberg. Daniel Hamberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Leon Gierlach made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Georg Lundström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Michael Colin. Seglora FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Lundström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Karl-Michael Colin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Lundström in the 31st minute of play forced Seglora FF's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Colin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Seglora FF's zone, Helge Houdini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Michael Colin came out of the goal and Helge Houdini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Seglora FF's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Lundström came free, but Karl-Michael Colin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helge Houdini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Colin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Seglora FF's zone, Helge Houdini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Michael Colin came out of the goal and Helge Houdini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenny Liljeström kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Seglora FF's Karl-Michael Colin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Houdini in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The throw-in from Adrian Vall in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kolarby AFK's Georg Lundström. Georg Lundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Helge Houdini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kolarby AFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Georg Lundström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 60th minute Helge Houdini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Michael Colin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Helge Houdini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Michael Colin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helge Houdini got free with Karl-Michael Colin in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kolarby AFK's Tri Trapaidze got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Georg Lundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Michael Colin having to make a save. When Helge Houdini came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Kolarby AFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Houdini couldn't finish the play.
