Timmy Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Sten Rosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Glanshammar's Jerry Täman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Glanshammar from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the ADRIA MATRIX FC defense, Elias Lund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timmy Axelsson. The ADRIA MATRIX FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timmy Axelsson should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Vidar Lustig took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jerry Täman to make any attempt to save it. When Kent Pååk fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ADRIA MATRIX FC's protests and gave Kent Pååk a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ADRIA MATRIX FC's Dag Gallberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Falkrantz to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Åke Ahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glanshammar's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Ahlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timmy Axelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sten Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
