Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sture Löfskog took the kick off in the first half of the match. Onanathewall's Charles Klemensson pulled a muscle in his leg after 2 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Onanathewall booed when Väderstad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Damm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rasmus Hamnberg in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Kent Åkerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Stålman in the 8th minute of play. Sonny Westerstrand got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ingvar Eriksson. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Kent Åkerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Väderstad IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Åkerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herman Ahlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Sture Löfskog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herman Ahlin was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Rickard Damm was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Väderstad IF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rickard Damm hit a great ball. In the 34th match minute, Väderstad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Ingvar Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Herman Ahlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Väderstad IF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jan-Åke Bergman hit a great ball. Väderstad IF's Ivar Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Damm in the 40th minute of play. Ingvar Eriksson hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Wictor Nordal charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wictor Nordal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Väderstad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wictor Nordal to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Rasmus Hamnberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivar Lundgren, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 65th match minute, Väderstad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. Onanathewall's Herman Ahlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Onanathewall from getting a goal against them. Ivar Lundgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viktor Martinsson went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Rasmus Hamnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Onanathewall's Herman Ahlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Löfskog in the 86th minute of play. After 95 minutes of play Väderstad IF's Wictor Nordal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 97th minute, Rasmus Hamnberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Onanathewall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Väderstad IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
