An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Stålman in the 15th minute of play forced Väderstad IF's goalkeeper Ivar Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Damm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sture Löfskog stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Onanathewall's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Damm came free, but Herman Ahlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sture Löfskog in the 56th minute of play forced Onanathewall's goalkeeper Herman Ahlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Onanathewall's Kalle Öberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lennart Östensson, made in the 58th minute of the game. Robin Lindholm hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Onanathewall defense, Sture Löfskog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herman Ahlin. The Onanathewall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herman Ahlin should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Sture Löfskog notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Onanathewall's Herman Ahlin. Herman Ahlin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Onanathewall's Kalle Öberg got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute Viktor Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Ahlin having to interfere.
