The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Bobygda AIF's Krisztián Pintér got a free kick in the 4th minute. Magne Rosen came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Shpongle's Jonathan Jakobsson. But to his dismay, Jonathan Jakobsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bobygda AIF's Magne Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Carlberg in the 13th minute of play. Jonathan Jakobsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Magne Rosen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bobygda AIF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Magne Rosen had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Jonathan Jakobsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball After some careless play in the Bobygda AIF defense, Jonathan Jakobsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magne Rosen. The Bobygda AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magne Rosen should have stopped the shot. Magne Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Carlberg in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Shpongle getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dennis Melin hit a great ball. Bengt-Rune Pååk's late challenge caught a Bobygda AIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Rune Pååk helped the player get up and apologised. Shpongle's Bengt-Rune Pååk got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Bengt-Rune Pååk off the ground. Bengt-Rune Pååk hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Forssell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Gunnarsson in the 40th minute of the match. Alec Dalton charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alec Dalton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Bobygda AIF's Magne Rosen got control of the ball when Albin Botvidsson tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The wind increased when Jimmie Gunnarsson made the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Crispo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Michael Forssell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Jakobsson in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magne Rosen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kasper Carlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Magne Rosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Bobygda AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stellan Browald to maneuver through the defense. Kasper Carlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kasper Carlberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kasper Carlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Ruperto Crispo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 96 minutes, Albin Botvidsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shpongle and the Bobygda AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Shpongle's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
