Spectators: 6100 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gösta Åman took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Rickard Damm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonatan Askestät took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivar Lundgren. Väderstad IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11th minute, Albert Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Lundgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Fagrell went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rickard Damm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Nässén having to interfere. Väderstad IF's Kent Åkerman got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Lennart Östensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Väderstad IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OY Drinks the free kick. After 25 played minutes Väderstad IF got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Östensson. In the 30th minute Sture Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Nässén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rickard Damm came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Väderstad IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rickard Damm couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind OY Drinks's goalkeeper Isac Nässén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Väderstad IF's Ivar Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Fagrell in the 36th minute of play. Sture Löfskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Nässén having to interfere. Sture Löfskog who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Isac Nässén when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sture Löfskog stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sture Löfskog in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Nässén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Väderstad IF's Ivar Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Wallander in the 55th minute of play. After 57 played minutes, OY Drinks's Albert Karlsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivar Lundgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OY Drinks reached it. Ivar Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Åman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Anton Wallander fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OY Drinks's protests and gave Anton Wallander a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Väderstad IF booed when OY Drinks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Wallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes, Sonny Westerstrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Väderstad IF and the OY Drinks players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sonny Westerstrand hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Bo Bern managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OY Drinks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Bern was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Bern got free with Ivar Lundgren in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 77th minute of the match Anton Wallander completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anton Wallander a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 78th minute, Anton Wallander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Väderstad IF getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rickard Damm hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Gösta Åman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ivar Lundgren, passed just outside the right post. Einar Granqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Nässén having to interfere. After some careless play in the Väderstad IF defense, Fred Sundén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivar Lundgren. The Väderstad IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivar Lundgren should have stopped the shot. OY Drinks's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
