Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilhelm Olsson started the match with the kick off. Jörn Rydelius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Olsson in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute Ulrik Vallmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Baraquiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Owls BK's Mats Törnkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Mathias Bocklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siggalidens FF's Constantino Baraquiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Törnkvist in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Alf Joensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siggalidens FF's Bengt-Rune Öberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Owls BK. After 19 played minutes Owls BK got a freekick which was hit by Mats Törnkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Törnkvist in the 22nd minute of play forced Siggalidens FF's goalkeeper Constantino Baraquiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Siggalidens FF's goalkeeper Constantino Baraquiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Rosén. Constantino Baraquiel was a little too slow when Ulrik Vallmark got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, Owls BK's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Olsson came free, but Jörn Rydelius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes Owls BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bengt-Rune Öberg who took care of the corner kick. Bengt-Rune Öberg made a great header on Siggalidens FF's corner, it was just that Owls BK's Jörn Rydelius managed to reach the ball for a save. Constantino Baraquiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Jönsson in the 41st minute of the match. Constantino Baraquiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Vallmark in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulrik Vallmark to make the kick off. Owls BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Jan-Olof Magnusson scored to the left of an out of position Jörn Rydelius, making the score, 2-1. Alex Rosén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Constantino Baraquiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörn Rydelius was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Wilhelm Olsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilhelm Olsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 67th minute Wilhelm Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Rydelius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Ulrik Vallmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Owls BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrik Vallmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Olsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Jörn Rydelius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bengt-Rune Öberg hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Siggalidens FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Rosén came free, but Constantino Baraquiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Mats Törnkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
