Simon Fagrell charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Fagrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Simon Fagrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Åke Hellbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Isac Nässén made a huge save. Gösta Åman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Forssell having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, OY Drinks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Jonathan Jakobsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isac Nässén was a little too slow when Kasper Carlberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 34th minute, Anton Wallander made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Michael Forssell. Shpongle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Carlberg in the 37th minute of play forced OY Drinks's goalkeeper Isac Nässén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Kasper Carlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Nässén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Fred Sundén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. OY Drinks's Bo Bern got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gösta Åman to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes OY Drinks got a freekick which was hit by Anton Wallander. In the 53rd minute, Kasper Carlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kasper Carlberg came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Shpongle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasper Carlberg couldn't finish the play. Shpongle were furious when Dennis Melin was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. OY Drinks's Henry Enström got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isac Nässén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Simon Fagrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Karl-Michael Forssell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Shpongle got a freekick which was hit by Albin Botvidsson. The supporters of OY Drinks booed when Shpongle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Carlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Gösta Åman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl-Michael Forssell, 1-2. OY Drinks were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Shpongle's much stronger midfield.
