In the 35th minute, Orvar Åkerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Hällefors RK's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Åkerman came free, but Kent Lindmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Orvar Åkerman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kent Lindmark. That made the score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. Orvar Åkerman scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Lindmark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tor Berglund to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Hällefors RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Sandell to maneuver through the defense. Sonny Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerry Vinström charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerry Vinström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Good Ebening getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jerry Vinström hit a great ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Joacim Skoog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kent Lindmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Åkerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Kent Lindmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orvar Åkerman in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Orvar Åkerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Good Ebening fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Hällefors RK's attentive Gustav Eckegren managed to snatch the ball when Simon Sandwall made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orvar Åkerman in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Lindmark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Orvar Åkerman came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Good Ebening fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orvar Åkerman couldn't finish the play. Gustav Eckegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Malte Bivall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Orvar Åkerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Good Ebening fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Richard Wenerdahl made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adrian Nyström however managed to control. In the 92nd minute, Per-Åke Sandell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kent Lindmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orvar Åkerman in the 95th minute of play. Orvar Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Good Ebening's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
