When Hernández CF's Albin Sandberg in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hernández CF's Tommy Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Söderqwist in the 17th minute of play. Albin Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Torsberg having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Göran Jonsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UCS03 and the Hernández CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes UCS03 got a freekick which was hit by Göran Jonsson. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Karl-Ove Lindmark took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tommy Joensson to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind UCS03's goalkeeper Alexander Torsberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexander Torsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Kent Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalle Söderqwist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Tommy Joensson made a huge save. Hernández CF's Tommy Joensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Hernández CF from getting a goal against them. Albin Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Albin Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Torsberg was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Kent Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Alexander Torsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albin Sandberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Hernández CF got a corner. UCS03's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt-Rune Biörkman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Göran Jonsson was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Göran Jonsson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to UCS03 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Tom Hermansson hit a great ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Ralf Åkesson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hernández CF's Tommy Joensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 95 minutes, Rasmus Billock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UCS03 and the Hernández CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, UCS03's Rasmus Billock got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute Rasmus Billock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Joensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hernández CF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UCS03.
