Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Wiktor Finnman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zippys Talanger's Hubert Dahlgren got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl Wallin hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Hubert Dahlgren put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Knut Ekström. The audience was convinced that Hubert Dahlgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Knut Ekström was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Paul Jernberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Knut Ekström. Väderstad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Jernberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Väderstad's Ian Dahlqvist got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Väderstad defense, Axel Granberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Knut Ekström. The Väderstad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Knut Ekström should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Dahlgren in the 24th minute of play forced Väderstad's goalkeeper Knut Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Zippys Talanger fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Zippys Talanger's Axel Granberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute, Axel Granberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Knut Ekström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Zippys Talanger's Bengt-Åke Månsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Zippys Talanger from getting a goal against them. After the first half Zippys Talanger were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Hubert Dahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Wiktor Finnman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zippys Talanger's Bengt-Åke Månsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hubert Dahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Ekström having to interfere. Knut Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Dahlgren in the 63rd minute of the match. Joel Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Åke Månsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Nordström in the 74th minute of play. Väderstad's Knut Ekström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Väderstad from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the game, Felix Benett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zippys Talanger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Väderstad the free kick. Knut Ekström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Jernberg's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Zippys Talanger played a much better game than Väderstad and deserved their victory. The Väderstad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
