Villiam Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Nord, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Villiam Olsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tor Berglund's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven Nilsson to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Sven Nilsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Lindmark was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. If Roland Bodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Veberöd walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
