After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Team Salty FC! The referee gave Bergkvara AIF a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kip Manuel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Team Salty FC's Patrik Blomqvist. 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Gösta Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kip Manuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Patrik Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Team Salty FC's zone, Kip Manuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Blomqvist came out of the goal and Kip Manuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 31 played minutes Team Salty FC got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Brolin. Gösta Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrik Blomqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kip Manuel's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Carlsson in the 43rd minute of play forced Bergkvara AIF's goalkeeper Marc Kjellqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Kjellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Marc Kjellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Zachrisson in the 67th minute of the match. Bror Zachrisson's late challenge caught a Bergkvara AIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bror Zachrisson helped the player get up and apologised. Bror Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Herold Isler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Kip Manuel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Blomqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Östen Dahlberg during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Team Salty FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bror Zachrisson hit a great ball. Gösta Svensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Blomqvist having to make a save. When Bergkvara AIF's Kip Manuel in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Team Salty FC's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bergkvara AIF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Team Salty FC.
