Spectators: 7577 (Terracing: 5683, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonardo Ekeroth kicked off to start the match. Jan-Ove Simonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the game, one of AS Sockenplan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jan Vesterberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Ove Simonsson having to make a save. In the 15th minute of the match, Jan-Åke Fernström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peder Asserlind was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Jan Vesterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Vesterberg in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Ove Simonsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rdth minute of the game Jan Vesterberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS Sockenplan's Jan-Ove Simonsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Haparanda IK fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Haparanda IK's Jan Vesterberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29th match minute, AS Sockenplan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Utter to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Haparanda IK's Vidar Hamberg tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Jan Vesterberg came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Haparanda IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Vesterberg couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Åke Fernström got free with Peder Asserlind in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Vesterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan Vesterberg took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Ove Simonsson. Jan-Ove Simonsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Vesterberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Roger Byström kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes, Haparanda IK's Vidar Hamberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan-Ove Simonsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Haparanda IK reached it. Zebastian Falk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Jan-Ove Simonsson made a huge save. Peder Asserlind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-4 became the score in the 59th minute when Jan Vesterberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jan-Ove Simonsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Vesterberg in the 62nd minute. Jan Vesterberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Haparanda IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Haparanda IK were furious when Vidar Hamberg was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Haparanda IK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Vidar Hamberg hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Vesterberg in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Ove Simonsson saved AS Sockenplan from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Michael Åberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leonardo Ekeroth took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peder Asserlind. Peder Asserlind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Leonardo Ekeroth might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peder Asserlind. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Ekeroth ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Nord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peder Asserlind having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Fernström in the 90th minute of play forced Haparanda IK's goalkeeper Peder Asserlind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haparanda IK's Jan Vesterberg got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viktor Hult sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haparanda IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
