Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Walter Vesterberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Sigvard Ambjörnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rudolf Benett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Balrog FC booed when Sunnansjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Heggert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marko Isaksson came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Balrog FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Isaksson couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Balrog FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Herbert Revest hit a great ball. Rudolf Benett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Andreasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Robert Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Robert Åman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Benett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sunnansjö's Walter Vesterberg got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ove Andreasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Robert Åman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marko Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Benett having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ove Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigvard Ambjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Andreasson in the 58th minute of play forced Sunnansjö's goalkeeper Rudolf Benett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Benett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Åman went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rudolf Benett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Ambjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Hjalmar Alebom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sunnansjö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balrog FC the free kick. In the 76th minute, Hjalmar Alebom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robert Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sunnansjö's Rudolf Benett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Sunnansjö from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Sunnansjö's goalkeeper Rudolf Benett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Åman. Rudolf Benett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigvard Ambjörnsson in the 88th minute. Rudolf Benett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Andreasson in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Balrog FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sunnansjö throughout the match.
