Georg Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Gummeson in the 8th minute of play. If Karl Hellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Göran Möller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Tage Ålberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of IFK Göteborg's Georg Elg. Georg Elg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aron Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Havstenssund RK's Henry Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Hellqvist in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Havstenssund RK got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Stenström. If Karl Hellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Gummeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Elg having to interfere. Georg Elg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tage Ålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Georg Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Gummeson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tage Ålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Norberg hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Karl Hellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Henry Valrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Hellqvist in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Valrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aron Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of IFK Göteborg booed when Havstenssund RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Ålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When IFK Göteborg's Aron Gustafsson in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Havstenssund RK's goalie prevented a goal. If Aron Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Andreas Gummeson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aron Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 minutes, Karl Hellqvist made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Havstenssund RK's Henry Valrot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aron Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led IFK Göteborg's Gert Kellman to fire away a dangerous shot which Henry Valrot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Havstenssund RK were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant IFK Göteborg side.
