The supporters of IFK Göteborg booed when Forza dvN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Hagberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georg Elg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Osvald Borre had several of the IFK Göteborg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvald Borre was the one to do the kick off. Forza dvN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Osvald Borre in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on Forza dvN's corner Osvald Borre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Georg Elg quite easily take care of the ball. Osvald Borre's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Georg Elg on his right side and into the goal. 53 minutes into the game it was 4-1. Georg Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Olof Örtendahl in the 59th minute of play. Georg Elg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Borre, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Georg Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Olof Örtendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Patrik Norberg came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the IFK Göteborg fans jumped to their feet.
