Aron Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Isac Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kränkta män FC booed when IFK Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aron Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Karl Hellqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Georg Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 33 minutes, Aron Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Göteborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Gustafsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Aron Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isac Bergqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Holger Ekgren to make the kick off. Michel Haglund hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Aron Gustafsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Aron Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Göteborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Aron Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Harald Göransson fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kränkta män FC's protests and gave Harald Göransson a yellow card for diving instead. Gösta Löfskog was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Holger Ekgren came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Kränkta män FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Ekgren couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Hellqvist in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isac Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Hellqvist in the 81st minute of the match. Georg Wennerquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Elg having to interfere. Isac Bergqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Hellqvist's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Isac Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Hellqvist in the 89th minute of play. Karl-Åke Olsson charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Åke Olsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Kränkta män FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Olsson. Isac Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Gustafsson in the 93rd minute of the match. If Aron Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Gustafsson struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Isac Bergqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Göteborg. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. IFK Göteborg fully deserved thier win.
