The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastian Apelqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Falck in the 33rd minute of play. Per-Erik Falck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Apelqvist having to make a save. Skurup's Sebastian Apelqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Björk in the 42nd minute of play. Jonny Björk had several of the Skurup's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Sebastian Apelqvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jonas Ahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Jonny Björk did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Sebastian Apelqvist 74 minutes into the match. Karlskrona IK's Jonny Björk was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Stellan Lindell fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skurup's protests and gave Stellan Lindell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Per-Erik Falck made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Apelqvist. Skurup's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Karlskrona IK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
