Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilgot Vikström in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sverker Åberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th play minute Bror Hegg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sverker Åberg. 2-0. In the 20th minute Ingmar Hjeltman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bror Hegg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Sverker Åberg made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Vilgot Vikström took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Sverker Åberg to make any attempt to save it. Vilgot Vikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bror Hegg in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sverker Åberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Warriors's Karl-Axel Haström got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Allan Collin made the kick off in the second half. Sverker Åberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bror Hegg went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Sverker Åberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bror Hegg's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Ingmar Hjeltman hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The supporters of Warriors booed when We like to dance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Warriors booed when We like to dance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Uggla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st match minute, Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Hjeltman to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Bror Hegg came free, but Sverker Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
