Spectators: 7473 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 90) The supporters of Bälinge booed when Mönsterås RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Lundhberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes Mönsterås RK got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Arvidsson. Filip Gabrielsson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Dan Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bälinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Lundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Bälinge's Dan Hansson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter Lundström. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the game, Dan Hansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Peter Lundström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Rudolf Lindman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 minutes of play, Bälinge's Dan Hansson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Lundström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Lundström made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Börje Låsberg sent off a good shot on target. Peter Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Hansson in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Dan Hansson took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Peter Lundström to make any attempt to save it. In the 38th minute, Ian Lundhberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Låsberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter Lundström came out and tried to block the shot, but Börje Låsberg slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 42nd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Markus Kleen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mönsterås RK's Filip Gabrielsson got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Mönsterås RK got a freekick which was hit by Filip Gabrielsson. In the 60thth minute of the game Jim Löfdahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mönsterås RK's Peter Lundström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Bälinge's Sven-Arne Beckström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Lundström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Orvar Lundblad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bälinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Orvar Lundblad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Lundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Jim Löfdahl notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Mönsterås RK's Peter Lundström. Peter Lundström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peter Lundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Löfdahl in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Ian Lundhberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79thth minute of the game Jim Löfdahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mönsterås RK's Peter Lundström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mönsterås RK's zone, Michael Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Lundström came out of the goal and Michael Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Lundström didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bälinge's Jim Löfdahl shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jim Löfdahl in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Lundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Börje Låsberg in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mönsterås RK's Filip Gabrielsson. Jan-Åke Soned's late challenge caught a Mönsterås RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Åke Soned helped the player get up and apologised. Peter Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Löfdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
