Spectators: 7578 (Terracing: 5731, Seating: 1757, VIP seats: 90) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Karl-Ove Wallman got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Bälinge's Dan Hansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kazimierz Gdowik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Dan Hansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bälinge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Staffan Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Gdowik having to interfere. Brantevik IF's Håkan Hjortsberg suffered a concussion in the 32nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Dan Jakobsson's late challenge caught a Brantevik IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Jakobsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Bälinge got a freekick which was hit by Dan Jakobsson. Dan Hansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Kazimierz Gdowik made a huge save. Emanuel Skytt charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Skytt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brantevik IF's Mårten Helberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Hansson was the one to do the kick off. Kazimierz Gdowik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Hansson in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Dan Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bälinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kazimierz Gdowik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dan Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edvard Björling kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Bälinge's Dan Hansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kazimierz Gdowik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Bälinge's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Wallman came free, but Viggo Simonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kazimierz Gdowik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Brantevik IF's zone, Staffan Söderström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kazimierz Gdowik came out of the goal and Staffan Söderström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Bälinge support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
