Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Karl-Ove Wallman got the match started through his kick off. Peter Lundström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Ove Wallman's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Markus Kleen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kazimierz Gdowik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brantevik IF were furious when Knut Kihlman was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 8th minute, one of Brantevik IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brantevik IF. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Mönsterås RK. Markus Kleen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kazimierz Gdowik. 0-2. Ian Lundhberg's late challenge caught a Brantevik IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Lundhberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Brantevik IF booed when Mönsterås RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Lundhberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kazimierz Gdowik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Kleen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Mönsterås RK's Markus Kleen, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mönsterås RK. Kazimierz Gdowik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Kleen in the 21st minute of the match. When Timmy Nyström fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mönsterås RK's protests and gave Timmy Nyström a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mönsterås RK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Peter Lundström had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Håkan Hjortsberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 24 minutes into the game, Brantevik IF's Håkan Hjortsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Lundström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Roland Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Lundström having to interfere. Brantevik IF's attentive Marcus Lundin managed to snatch the ball when Rudolf Lindman made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Mönsterås RK's Peter Lundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Nordin in the 39th minute of play. Roland Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Peter Lundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Edvard Björling in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mönsterås RK's Timmy Nyström. In the 47th minute Roland Nordin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markus Kleen to strike the kick off in the second half. Christoffer Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Nordin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Roland Nordin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brantevik IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Nordin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roland Nordin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mönsterås RK booed when Brantevik IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Viberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Lundhberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Gdowik having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Mönsterås RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. Roland Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Peter Lundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mönsterås RK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Markus Kleen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mönsterås RK's Ian Lundhberg got a free kick in the 85th minute. Roland Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, one of Mönsterås RK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mönsterås RK. The referee gave Brantevik IF a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Håkan Hjortsberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mönsterås RK's Peter Lundström. 2-2.
