The tension between the Winterfell FC and the Nyborgs FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adam Mattsson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Anders Myr got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 22nd minute, Nyborgs FF's Karl-Erik Biörkman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patrik Olofsson. Patrik Olofsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Vase during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anders Vase hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes, Åke Melberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nyborgs FF and the Winterfell FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Anders Myr rounded Winterfell FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Karl-Erik Biörkman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Patrik Olofsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anders Myr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Olofsson having to interfere. Winterfell FC's Patrik Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Myr in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Anders Myr made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Olofsson. Winterfell FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Richard Haeger made the kick off in the second half. Anders Myr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Erik Biörkman in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Olofsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Erik Biörkman struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Patrik Olofsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nyborgs FF. 58 minutes into the match, Winterfell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Myr came free, but Patrik Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Erik Biörkman in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Olofsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the match, André Nordin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrik Olofsson. Winterfell FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Nordin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 62nd minute, Charles Almstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Erik Biörkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Olofsson having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Winterfell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Erik Biörkman came free, but Patrik Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Nordin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Nyborgs FF got a freekick which was hit by Anders Myr. After some careless play in the Winterfell FC defense, Anders Myr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Olofsson. The Winterfell FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Olofsson should have stopped the shot. In the 81st match minute, Winterfell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Boman to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Winterfell FC booed when Nyborgs FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Biörkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Karl-Erik Biörkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Anders Myr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrik Olofsson. Winterfell FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anders Myr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Patrik Olofsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Erik Biörkman in the 94th minute of the match. Winterfell FC's Patrik Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Biörkman in the 96th minute of play. Nyborgs FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
