The audience was convinced that Karl-Erik Biörkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rasmus Blixt was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Rasmus Blixt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Myr in the 38th minute of play. Rasmus Blixt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Biörkman in the 44th minute of play forced Muttsmuttarnas ff's goalkeeper Rasmus Blixt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Myr struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Rasmus Blixt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nyborgs FF. The supporters of Nyborgs FF booed when Muttsmuttarnas ff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Ekegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Nyborgs FF were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 96th minute, Nyborgs FF's Anders Myr dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Nyborgs FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Muttsmuttarnas ff.
