In the 17th minute Benjamin Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Zmărăndache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Vegby's goal looked a bit too open when Östen Hegg came free, but Ionel Zmărăndache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Kenneth Carlsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Zmărăndache. Vegby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenneth Carlsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Vegby's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Häll came free, but Ionel Zmărăndache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kenneth Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Svanskog FC's zone, Jan Karlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Flink came out of the goal and Jan Karlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Svanskog FC booed when Vegby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Radzyminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Mattias Häll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vegby's Ionel Zmărăndache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th minute Östen Hegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Zmărăndache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Svanskog FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattias Häll to strike the kick off in the second half. Kenneth Carlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ionel Zmărăndache made a huge save. Ionel Zmărăndache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Häll in the 54th minute of play. Vegby's Mathias Danielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunnar Flink didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Oskar Blom went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ionel Zmărăndache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Häll in the 66th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Vegby's Jan Karlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gunnar Flink made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ionel Zmărăndache made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Kenneth Carlsson sent off a good shot on target. Vegby's Ionel Zmărăndache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Häll in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Häll in the 83rd minute of play forced Vegby's goalkeeper Ionel Zmărăndache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Svanskog FC's Östen Hegg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ionel Zmărăndache. That made the score 2-3 after 84 minutes of play. Kenneth Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Skytt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ionel Zmărăndache came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamin Skytt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 90th minute. Ionel Zmărăndache made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth Carlsson in the 93rd minute. Kenneth Carlsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-5 in the 95th playminute. When the final whistle sounded Svanskog FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vegby.
