Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Mathias Danielsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Arboga SK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Karlsson came free, but Yngve Sjöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match Vegby got a corner. Arboga SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl-Oskar Blom ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vegby's Tomasz Radzyminski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yngve Sjöman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Yngve Sjöman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Arboga SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Danielsson came free, but Yngve Sjöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Karlsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Lars Sundström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ionel Zmărăndache. The goal made the score 1-0. Ionel Zmărăndache made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Joakim Åkesson sent off a good shot on target. Yngve Sjöman came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vegby's Jan Karlsson. But to his dismay, Jan Karlsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Arboga SK's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Fagerberg came free, but Yngve Sjöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionel Zmărăndache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Vikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Sundström struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ionel Zmărăndache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arboga SK. In the 32nd minute, Lars Sundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yngve Sjöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joakim Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ionel Zmărăndache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yngve Sjöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Ionel Zmărăndache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Sundström in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Jan Karlsson lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Yngve Sjöman. Aron Vikström scored 2-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionel Zmărăndache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute Joakim Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Zmărăndache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zebastian Sigfridsson fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arboga SK's protests and gave Zebastian Sigfridsson a yellow card for diving instead. Yngve Sjöman made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Sören Fagerberg sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Danielsson in the 80th minute of play forced Arboga SK's goalkeeper Yngve Sjöman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Yngve Sjöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Sören Fagerberg made a precise shot to the right of Yngve Sjöman. Arboga SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Vegby's Mathias Danielsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yngve Sjöman. That made the score 2-4 after 88 minutes of play. If Mathias Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vegby eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
