In the 7th match minute, SlakJesus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Backlund to maneuver through the defense. Kenneth Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vedillo Ruy in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Flink saved Svanskog FC from getting behind. After 16 played minutes SlakJesus FC got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Rolandsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Mattias Häll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svanskog FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Häll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breslin McOliver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Skytt charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Skytt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gunnar Flink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Lundblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Ragnar Asmundsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svanskog FC and the SlakJesus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ragnar Asmundsson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vedillo Ruy in the 27th minute of play forced Svanskog FC's goalkeeper Gunnar Flink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SlakJesus FC's zone, Kenneth Carlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breslin McOliver came out of the goal and Kenneth Carlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Breslin McOliver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth Carlsson in the 47th minute. After the first half SlakJesus FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattias Häll was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, SlakJesus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Carlsson came free, but Breslin McOliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54thth minute of the game Vedillo Ruy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svanskog FC's Gunnar Flink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kenneth Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Kenneth Carlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vedillo Ruy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gunnar Flink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Svanskog FC's Aron Hökqvist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aron Hökqvist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Svanskog FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aron Hökqvist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Svanskog FC's Aron Hökqvist got a free kick in the 87th minute. The SlakJesus FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SlakJesus FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
