Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Karl-Erik Biörkman got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Nyborgs FF's Åke Melberg got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Joakim Åkesson took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorin Arsene. Dorin Arsene dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Nyborgs FF's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Åkesson came free, but Dorin Arsene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nyborgs FF! Nyborgs FF:s Dorin Arsene showed great skill when he stopped Holger Kilberg:s penalty. 11 minutes into the match, Holger Kilberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorin Arsene. Nyborgs FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Holger Kilberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Arboga SK's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Myr came free, but Yngve Sjöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Arboga SK's Olof Stigsson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Anders Myr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Sjöman having to interfere. In the 20th minute, André Nordin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Nyborgs FF's Karl-Erik Biörkman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yngve Sjöman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anders Myr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yngve Sjöman having to make a save. If André Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Yngve Sjöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nyborgs FF's Anders Myr got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olof Stigsson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Yngve Sjöman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anders Myr showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 41 minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Arboga SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Sundström to maneuver through the defense. Anders Myr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Yngve Sjöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joakim Åkesson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Myr in the 52nd minute of play forced Arboga SK's goalkeeper Yngve Sjöman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes of play, Nyborgs FF's Anders Myr made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yngve Sjöman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yngve Sjöman came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Nyborgs FF's Anders Myr. But to his dismay, Anders Myr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Anders Myr struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Yngve Sjöman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nyborgs FF. André Nordin took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yngve Sjöman. Yngve Sjöman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Yngve Sjöman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Myr in the 66th minute of play. Dorin Arsene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Sundström in the 69th minute of play. Joakim Åkesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Dorin Arsene made a huge save. Anders Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Claes Fransson made a precise shot to the right of Yngve Sjöman. Arboga SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. Torbjörn Siöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Frank Wallmark in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Arboga SK's Lars Sundström. Joakim Åkesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Dorin Arsene made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Anders Myr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nyborgs FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-2. 90 minutes into the game, Nils Ahlqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nyborgs FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arboga SK the free kick. In the 91st minute, Nils Ahlqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nyborgs FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
