Arboga SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winterfell FC the free kick. After 3 played minutes Arboga SK got a freekick which was hit by Holger Kilberg. Yngve Sjöman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Haeger in the 4th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Joakim Åkesson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Patrik Olofsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yngve Sjöman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Haeger, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Anders Vase kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yngve Sjöman. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. Winterfell FC's Patrik Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Vikström in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Vase got free with Yngve Sjöman in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrik Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Åkesson in the 27th minute of play. Winterfell FC's Patrik Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Åkesson in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Olof Stigsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Haeger charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Haeger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Arboga SK's Aron Vikström in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winterfell FC's goalie prevented a goal. Patrik Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Stigsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Vikström in the 37th minute of play forced Winterfell FC's goalkeeper Patrik Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Joakim Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arboga SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Joakim Åkesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Olofsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrik Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Åkesson in the 46th minute of play. Winterfell FC's Patrik Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Sundström in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Richard Haeger made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Anders Vase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Sjöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Richard Haeger notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Arboga SK's Yngve Sjöman. Yngve Sjöman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joakim Åkesson took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Olofsson. Patrik Olofsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 72nd match minute, Winterfell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Åkesson got free with Patrik Olofsson in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yngve Sjöman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anders Vase went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After 80 minutes of play, Winterfell FC's Anders Vase made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yngve Sjöman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrik Olofsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joakim Åkesson in the 84th minute. Patrik Olofsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aron Vikström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-4 in the 85 minute of play. Anders Vase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Sjöman having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Anders Vase had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yngve Sjöman. Arboga SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anders Vase was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-4. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arboga SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Winterfell FC.
