An unexpectedly hard shot by André Waller in the 13th minute of play forced Skillingaryd IFK's goalkeeper Aldo Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Skillingaryd IFK's goalkeeper Aldo Paul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingemar Hernström. If Ingemar Hernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Paul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Rang in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Skillingaryd IFK's goal looked a bit too open when André Waller came free, but Aldo Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Paul was a little too slow when Jimmy Rang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Skillingaryd IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Rang came free, but Aldo Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 27 in the game by Ingemar Hernström from a close distance when the talented Aldo Paul managed to make a qualified save. Skillingaryd IFK's players were relieved. When Elias Valrot fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skillingaryd IFK's protests and gave Elias Valrot a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Valrot hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ingemar Hernström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Aldo Paul made a huge save. Jimmy Rang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Skillingaryd IFK's Aldo Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Waller in the 34th minute of play. Skultuna's André Waller came free and shot a quick shot against goal 36 minutes in the game, fortunately Aldo Paul had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Jesse Pinkman came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Skillingaryd IFK's Gunnar Örtlund. But to his dismay, Gunnar Örtlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. André Waller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aldo Paul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Skillingaryd IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Rang came free, but Aldo Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes, Gunnar Örtlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skillingaryd IFK and the Skultuna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Skillingaryd IFK got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Örtlund. When Ingemar Hernström came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Skultuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingemar Hernström couldn't finish the play. Skillingaryd IFK were furious when Alf Lindberg was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Ove Ahlström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, Skultuna's Jimmy Rang made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Paul was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Richard Morat fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skillingaryd IFK's protests and gave Richard Morat a yellow card for diving instead. Richard Morat kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Ludwig Landin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes in the game Lars Sandberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Erik Stenquist. Skillingaryd IFK's Aldo Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Hernström in the 75th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Ingemar Hernström made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Skillingaryd IFK's Aldo Paul tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Skillingaryd IFK's Richard Morat quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lars Sandberg, made in the 86th minute of the game. Richard Morat kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Skillingaryd IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Rang came free, but Aldo Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute of the match Ludwig Landin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Paul skillfully saved the ball. Skillingaryd IFK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
