Anton Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliot Höijer in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Sverige FF's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Forssell came free, but Magnus Helander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gösta Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Ekrot having to interfere. Erik Tolsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Magnus Helander made a huge save. Anton Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Axelsson in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Erik Tolsson made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sverige FF's Magnus Helander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Magnus Helander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Spetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Erik Tolsson's late challenge caught a Sverige FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Tolsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sverige FF booed when Trepca 89 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Tolsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Axelsson in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elliot Höijer to make the kick off. If Erik Spetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Elliot Höijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik Tolsson struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Magnus Helander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trepca 89. 65 minutes into the game, one of Sverige FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gösta Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Sverige FF got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Bengtsson. Erik Tolsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Trepca 89 booed when Sverige FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Fagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Spetz spun around in front of the goal 89 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sverige FF's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Spetz in the 92nd minute of play forced Sverige FF's goalkeeper Magnus Helander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Trepca 89's Erik Spetz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magnus Helander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sverige FF's zone, Malcolm Forssell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magnus Helander came out of the goal and Malcolm Forssell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Trepca 89 were the better team. Trepca 89's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
