A & B United FC's Sven Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Sander in the 12th minute of play. Stellan Felin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Svensson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Felin in the 18th minute of play forced A & B United FC's goalkeeper Sven Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Bo Alstedt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven Svensson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Sander in the 34th minute of play forced A & B United FC's goalkeeper Sven Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Fågel struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Sven Svensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for meldo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stellan Felin was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of A & B United FC booed when meldo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stellan Felin didn't get a good kick on the ball. meldo's Göran Haraldsson got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Sander got free with Sven Svensson in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. meldo's Stellan Felin got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Orvar Ugla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, A & B United FC's Orvar Ugla got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jerry Sander succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 78th playminute. When meldo's Jerry Sander in 84 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Sven Svensson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 97th minute of the match, Torsten Hammarbäck got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sven Svensson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched meldo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
