The coaching staff of Skillingaryd IFK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alf Lindberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skillingaryd IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! 19 minutes into the match, Skillingaryd IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Agne Ekeberg came free, but Aldo Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agne Ekeberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The supporters of Husby FK booed when Skillingaryd IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Sillén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ove Ahlström charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Ove Ahlström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jens-Ove Ahlström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Zygmunt Narbut made a huge save. Aldo Paul came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Husby FK's Ivar Bergman. But to his dismay, Ivar Bergman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gustav Anundsson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Aldo Paul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Bergman in the 68th minute of the match. Aldo Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Ekeberg in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Skillingaryd IFK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Per Sillén hit a great ball. Aldo Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agne Ekeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Husby FK fully deserved thier win.
