Timmy Dalström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Felin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute Stellan Felin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Dalström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Granberg having to interfere. Dynamo KBry's Karl Göransson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigvard Öfverman hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Ulf Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Göransson in the 35th minute of play forced meldo's goalkeeper Per-Olof Granberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timmy Dalström was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Mats Målare capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mats Målare really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Målare in the 43rd minute of play forced Dynamo KBry's goalkeeper Timmy Dalström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Torsten Hammarbäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Felin in the 46th minute of play forced Dynamo KBry's goalkeeper Timmy Dalström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jerry Sander kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Johan Backlund took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Per-Olof Granberg to make any attempt to save it. Sivert Fredriksson hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, meldo's Göran Haraldsson got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Målare in the 68th minute of play forced Dynamo KBry's goalkeeper Timmy Dalström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Mats Målare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Dalström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind meldo's goalkeeper Per-Olof Granberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timmy Dalström came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by meldo's Jerry Sander. But to his dismay, Jerry Sander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jerry Sander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Torsten Hammarbäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dynamo KBry's Johan Backlund got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Dynamo KBry's goal looked a bit too open when Stellan Felin came free, but Timmy Dalström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stellan Felin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Dalström having to interfere. If Johan Backlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dynamo KBry's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
